Having spent more time than ever up in East Gwillimbury this fall has been spectacular. We have already seen our fair share of snow up here and paired with the gorgeous array of autumn coloured trees, brings breathtaking beauty to the already stunning landscape. This is why I’m not minding one bit the pleasure of driving up here Saturday mornings with Greg and Emily to meet the family and join my sister-in-law Susan on her house hunting expeditions. She’s been looking at homes both new and resale and we’ve just come across an incredible community in East Gwillimbury called Sharon Village.
This amazingly planned community is a place where natural beauty and city convenience live in perfect harmony. Easy highway access with the 404 and 407 plus the shops and amenities in Newmarket’s Yonge Street and Upper Canada Mall make Sharon Village such an attractive destination residence for our families. Susan is all over the available lots and has already started talking to her banker about mortgage options. I just love how excited she gets!
Her enthusiasm isn’t without good reason though. Aside from the news we have just announced to everyone that Greg and I are expecting our 2nd baby, we’ve really found a destination community that truly meets the needs of both our growing family, and Susan’s starter family. She’s even got Greg’s parents looking at lots, now considering the possibility of all 3 of us being minutes from each other. I must admit, moving up here will be a great way to have the kids grow up close to their cousins and afford us the sort of lifestyle we would never be able to have if we stay in the city. Living in a luxurious estate home just north of the GTA, close to family and without a gigantic mortgage, would certainly be a dream come true for our family!
Discovering Sharon Village this fall was a pleasant wake-up call, confirming to me that we can have it all! Stunning home designs in a master planned community setting. Affordable luxury attracting our family to live in close proximity; we have never been so excited about a new home!
