With the year-end approaching, this is an exciting time for us as we now know that by July, we’ll be a family of 4 and although we may not be living in our new home, our custom house will be nearing completion and we’ll be calling Sharon Village our new home. The anticipation is getting everyone so excited, it may have something to do with the holidays around the corner, but new changes ahead are creating lots of eagerness amongst Greg, Emily and the rest of the family. Moving from Toronto allows us to use the equity from our condo sale toward out new house so now that we’re not dealing with starter models. I’m just in love with the 40 foot single options at Sharon Village.
The Grimsby model offers a two-car garage with 4 bedrooms in just over 2800 square feet. A covered porch brings you to a roomy foyer with a powder room and closet, adjacent to a transitional area featuring an optional coffered ceiling overlooking the staircase and living/dining room with 2 windows and also with a coffered ceiling option. Toward the back of the house there’s a large kitchen with a centre island and a sizable breakfast area overlooking a grand family room with fireplace flanked with 2 windows and optional detailed ceilings.
The upstairs features 4 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms including a small linen closet. The laundry room is positioned off the garage on the main floor in this model, but it’s just at the bottom of the staircase on the way to the basement so the flow works for me. The master bedroom is stunningly appointed with 2 windows on each end, optional coffered ceilings, a large walk-in-closet and beautiful 5-piece master bathroom. The second bathroom features a double vanity and offers lots of space.
This is an impressive model and I’m really excited to take a look at the rest of the 40 foot single models in the Sharon Village community.
