Although it’s getting colder outside, it doesn’t mean you should hide away indoors! In fact, the area around our upcoming development, Vivid Urban Towns in Brampton has so many winter activities available for you and the family, that you could spend every weekend exploring what’s going on. Follow along for our list of our favourite winter activities you need to know about.
Claireville Conservation Area is the largest natural setting of its kind; straddling the Peel Region. In fact, its 848 acre forest actually sits on the doorstep of Brampton, Mississauga, Toronto and Vaughan! This passive conservation area is the perfect spot to get away from it all and really enjoy the wildlife and natural landscapes throughout the trails. This is a very popular spot for other families going for a stroll in the calm woods as well as local bird watchers.
If you’re looking to get out of the house but the cold weather is making you a little cautious, take the whole family for bowling at Brunswick Zone! This is one of those places that are guaranteed to have everyone smiling from ear no matter what their age. They have bowling lanes, a full arcade, and pool tables available for your indoor winter activities.
Both Gage and Chinguacousy Park offer an incredible experience when it comes to winter activities. Rent or bring your own pair of skates, and spend some time taking in the beautiful scenery that these places have to offer. As a plus, both skate trails have snack bars if you’re hoping for a warm cup of hot chocolate after your day!
Chinguacousy Park makes it onto our list again because of the incredible winter experiences it provides. If skating isn’t your thing, or you just have to get back out there to experience the crisp air, this park offers skiing, snowboarding, and tubing! This is a great time that can be enjoyed by the whole family. Be sure to check here to find out opening times and other information.
These are just a few of the many activities that will be available to those interested in our Vivid Urban Towns project. From skiing and skating to bowling and video games, Brampton is definitely the right place to be for winter activities.
